Mission
To create a usable, accurate, internationalized, expandable GUI interface to
manage iptables firewall rules. Primary emphasis is on usability and
accuracy, but it must also allow for easy addition of "rule wizards".

The "fireconf" project located at http://forge.trilug.org/ has now been
officially forked; credit for previous work will remain in the source code.
This fork was created with the knowledge and permission of the fireconf
maintainer, Timothy Chagnon.
