Mission

To create a usable, accurate, internationalized, expandable GUI interface to manage iptables firewall rules. Primary emphasis is on usability and accuracy, but it must also allow for easy addition of "rule wizards".

Recent News

• [05 Aug 2004] Project created
  The "fireconf" project located at http://forge.trilug.org/ has now been officially forked; credit for previous work will remain in the source code. This fork was created with the knowledge and permission of the fireconf maintainer, Timothy Chagnon.

Contributing

To discuss ideas, bug fixes, or submit patches then join the development mailing list. If your patch implements an existing RFE or fixes a known BUG, you can also/instead attach it to our Issue Tracker.

If you want to add a bug/rfe/whatever to the Issue Tracker without registering with tigris.org, just send them to the dev or users list. (If you are registered, you do not have to join current.) We'll add it.
